seminar on national standard for textile metrology convened by cttc

the seminar on national standard (gb) specification for equipping and managing of measuring instrument of energy in textile industry was convened by cttc on sep. 25-27, 2011. eighteen experts attending this seminar came from china national textile and apparel council (cntac), china national textile metrology station (cntms), jilin textile metrology center, etc. cttc and cntms are in charge of developing this national standard.
during the seminar, standard section chief of cntac mr. sun ximin and general manager of cttc mr. fang xijiang proposed the general requirements for preparing this standard. vice director of cntms mr. huo shuhuai made a detail explanation on the outline, the importance and the complication of the project, and presented the technical scheme for the future work. other drafting organizations introduced the category of energy metrology and the accuracy of metrology instruments in the related fields and provided the comments on it. through the discussion, some items with industrial specialty were preliminarily considered as research object for this standard.
